Hi Rust Community I and my friends thought it would be a good idea to use 40+ hours of our spare time away from school to build a massive city in Rust with the use of only vanilla building materials that are available in Rust. The city takes most of its inspiration from large American cities, such as New York, Chicago, Los Angeles etc. Here are some of the screenshots that we took during and after the building of the city. We have looked at the Rust blog post in the menu screen since we began playing the game, and have always been fascinated with the large-scale projects that have been featured in the blog post. The city was built by Jonas (Server Owner, Luftwaffe), Rasmus (Admin, Gunsmoke), Mikkel (Admin, Leeroy) and a guy called Andreas (Didn't help a lot). Impressive job! I'm wondering how you managed to build this high though, building stability is always an issue for me.
Looks great! Really cool. I'd love to see a custom map focusing around a central city and outer hubs.

@Gunsmoke This looks amazing mate, i have also designed the same looking type of city as i am currently developing a city life RP server inspired by Altis Life from Arma3. Right now i am making a custom map perfect for this type of server, flat areas for cities, hilly landscapes and islands, multiple roads and highways with the gravel texture connecting all the cities and areas of interest together. I see potential in the server and am very dedicated to make it the best i can, thus far i have had a small server run to test things and have managed to have whitelist police, that have spawns to police stations in the big cities, that spawn with a kits depending on their police level (Cadet, Officer, Sargent) police will be able to taze players (freeze arrows) and be able to search a player for illegal items and sent them to prison. Players sent to prison will spawn with a prison uniform kit and no be able to escape the jail for the time the police officer sent them there. Shops with ai for players to buy illegal items such as guns and drugs (hemp aka weed and mushrooms). Crafting is completely disabled and in-game currency will be used to buy items from shops, in-order to get money you'll need to farm resources found at certain spots on the map and sell them to the appropriate shop. HQM, GP, Hemp & Guns other than pistols and ammo other than pistol ammo will be considered illegal. For resource farming example; the KOS island will spawn HQM and will be worth the most money, you'd have to travel after farming the hqm to an area on the map where large furnaces will be then travel to the buyer. At anytime a player can be declared apon in RP and robbed by others outside of safezones (cities), the only safezone for police is the police station. For this server to work it will rely on plugins not meant for this type of server but configured to the best of my ability and alot of player RP and interaction.
