• Why isn't Rust free?

You'd think with the amount of issues your game comes with, and the constant problems and dilemmas that people face just to play this game. It makes everyone think, why didn't you make rust free? Then once all the issues smoothed out you started charging? That would have avoided a lot of bad taste this company has put in peoples mouth. Having to pay for something then fix it yourself just to play it? Isn't that what your job is? You make something that works, so you can then sell it to others? And if it doesn't work. Wouldn't you make it free access until said time? Starting to see why you're called "Facepunch Studios"...
Rust is worth more than any other triple A games in my opinion and I am constantly having tons of fun with it. Worth my money tenfold.

GSniper is just trolling the forums... Anyway, making the game free will have a HUGE negative effect. Free game = Unlimited hacking accounts. So no, game must never be free.
Hi GSniper, Thanks for getting in touch. I won't pass this on to the development team (even though they can take a joke) they will probably get offended, however what I will say is that you have something wrong with your head (A real issue that only a doctor can help). As I am not a doctor I have no training on what to do for serious head injuries, I can suggest that you need to seek medical advice quickly. I hope you find this reply helpful. Warmest regards, Badass Roy (Role-playing technical support expert)
