The game is going out of EA, that's fine, but what exactly is the point of Rust? There's no story. If you play solo on vanilla servers, you won't even make it to stone tools before getting murdered. Ok, it's a sandbox, a sandbox without character customization? For $35? IMO, t...
Instead of making everyone learn a bp, make BP's more like eve online and limited to the required tiered workbench. Add storage to workbenches for BP's and components for crafting. Require scrap to place a bp in order to craft. Remove research from the game and make certain bp...
Stashes should have a limited use or limited time. They shouldn't be able to last forever in the world without decaying, it makes things too easy. The interrogation thing should only reveal one stash and you can only be interrogated once a day maybe.
karma system: the less geared the person you killed was, the more upkeep your tc will require.
You can't tell people how to play the game. If people dont like farming, they'll kill naked people.
Looking forward to a 2018 of rust filled with lots of tears from tons of additions and changes to the game that everyone hates or loves.
Probably a controlled experiment type of thing and some snowden whistleblower pushed a wrong button that blew everything to hell and released a bunch of low IQ rats.
And I want character customization. The dev will make the game the way he wants, sometimes it sucks. Also, it's in alpha so things are changing. The way things are now probably wont be the way things are in december 2018.
I see it every time I press tab. You don't?
I agree, I hate my character. But race/sex means nothing in a cancer game.
They're removing limited inventory space and adding a weight system.
I remember something way back about adding something like this for some meta immersion gameplay mechanic or something. A new game, Escape from Tarkov has this where you have to manually put bullets in an empty magazine before reloading. Looks like something Rust could benefit ...
I think they were trying to have crafting moved to deployables (according to their roadmap) instead of people crafting things, so it's reasonable to assume bps will move to machines/deployables.
Raid big bases then. You'd think everyone would be loaded all the time with resources now that everyone has to farm.
I can play, I just dont really like my character.
and character creation. My character is ugly and i can't play when I constantly just want to die. thanks.
Just double resources for walls, add generators and electric requirements for traps so sulfur has another use, make c4 only work on doors, and add a balanced way to counter traps. There, bases done. Now give me my zombies back.
Weren't they supposed to add electricity at one point too? Why are they still stuck on buildings after 2 years?
I mean theres just too much focus on bases when there can be so much more done with the game. You say survival aspects but all you have to do is go to a gas station and eat out of all the boxes and your done. Rust needs to look to its roots.
Put a storage box next to the TC and just keep shoveling in materials as needed. Hopefully you have a giant clan to constantly farm resources to warrant such a huge base now.
Bring on the pve game. Bring back the zombies already. Or the guys in hazmat suits, whichever floats ur boat.
You already can play solo. The fun of it is if you can survive on your own. Problem is you won't be able to have the top tier items.
