Suggestion Building update 4.0 adds new block and mirror mode to BP.
the Forced wipe will probably wipe BP's. That OR. maybe when new year hits Bp's will wipe. either is possible really.
build small and secluded even when you have a group of 4. I prefer to solo so I build the smallest base possible in a secluded area, which once half walls are added, will be a 2x1, with a triangle airlock.

Member all the little hidden crevices that were skattered across the map. Hacker mountain north had a rock you could build a base under. The long mountain range leading up Mount Everust had a few hiding spots. good times.
the top is covered in a stone tile. while the bottom is Wood which helps support the stone. In my opinion, the building block models are due for a remodel since It would be nice to see more realistic stone walls than the flat walls we have now.

Let us snap floors to the side of foundations. and foundations to the side of floors. this would make rock bases much easier to create.
Honey combing a base is still easy. but it's going to be more expensive to maintain. wall stacking is going to be impossible probably.
Ultimately it's up to You guys. If you think it would benefit the game's development Then do it. The benefits would probably out weigh the cons. Pros. Better Performance. Better AI navigation. Terrain that makes sense. Glorious Rivers and Waterfalls. Areas of Intrest, Canyo...
You can abandon Procgen, if you make the map big as planet side 2's Indar. That should be big enough for vehicles, multiple players, Island battles. and giant monuments.
I think the Hybrid system is just fine, but I don't like the Topography change. the zergs know where the weakest players are and just dominate those areas.
A "Wipeless rust is possible. but there would have to be some way to set players back. the Building system 3.0 might make the Mega Clan bases that dominate the map a thing of the past, or it might make the clans build smaller and more raidable bases.
Building system 3.0 is bound to cause some changes. so lets wait and see what that causes.
