Hooray! Pughie has once again picked up his pen, this time trying to capture the new compounds in his painterly ways. I thought he did a good job, and then found out he'd turned it into a video and upgraded my opinion. It is now at 'fine job'.
Thanks for this!
In case you haven't had the time to pop in yourself, Ser Winter took a tour of the new compound, and this is a nice video about it.
How's everyone feeling about the new safe zone?
Here's a fun take on the new safe space: playing it as unsafely as possible. Oblivion's plan is to see how long he can last in the safe zone, with a gun out and an inventory packed with meds. None of this is legit, but it's fun nonetheless. Especially when he puts on the heavy armour...
I love his plan to get a zerg to run through it to see who survives. I hope that's recorded...
DJRustyRust showed off his server's new town on reddit, and asked me to pop in and take a peek. That's the sort of invite I generally accept, and spent a few moments there, snapping screens of Salty Woods on OzRust. It has tonnes of shops, lock-ups, communal facilities, and more.
In the terrifying vernacular of Rust servers, it's "OzRust.com PvE AU [04/05] |NoRaid|Kits|5x|Lifts|Town|Zombies" server on their site.
I know Frost is no longer actively making Rust videos, and I also know this video is almost two months old, but it's a neat use of the game.
In case you want to know what it's spoofing...
Good work.
Skills are important. hJune shows off his bow skills (and more, but the bow is the basis for all this). He then takes a swim.
I love watching people experiencing the scuba gear for the first time.
We all walk through many doors in life, but I'm not sure I'd step through any that Xtab has found this week. They're scarrrry.
That mainframe fridge is incredible.
Think you're working on something awesome? Tell me all about it. Share your base designs, show off a game-mode from your server, or have you done a cool thing with boats?
There's a dedicated forum, or you can fish for upvotes in the sub reddit. I also shuffle around the the Steam Community, so feel free to show me to things from there. You can follow and respond to Rust on Twitter, and I'm on there as well.
