OTT building exercises have always been my jam, particularly ones that embrace game elements. That's why I was delighted to be DMed by DJRustyRust and told about Catraz, a giant city on OZRust's PvE Eu server. it wasn't just a city, but one that embraces the ocean: there's boat repair stations, docks, and a race-track for wave-racers looking to get salty. Credit goes to builders Irritanto and Grumpel.
Mr has been around Rust for a while, and decided to show you how to survive as a newbie. You'll learn what trees are, and more. I hope you learned something.
Roleplaying someone lost in Rust seems to be becoming a theme of late. ThatGermanGuy found himself trapped in a room, with various rocks made to look like food, and it slowly drives him loopy. It's quite effective. I'd be so full of rocks by the end of day 4.
A couple of redditors have been bringing Rust into the real world this week. Garyeoka built a SAR and a mask. And Ragejay made some syringes. I'd follow those instructions to the letter.
Once again, reddit has provided. In this case there were a few builds that are pretty much diametrically opposed to one another. On one side of culture, UGPromotions made a prison. But then iamahab made an art gallery, with some in-game art. Shame we didn't see the building, but I guess we're there for the art.
It's not just bullets that Welyn spits. It's also rhymes. *polite applause*
More fruitful picking of Steam Workshop skins by Xtab. Here's his favourites from the past week. That circus door is too much.
Battlefield V looks a bit different. Via Brunt Force Trauma.
Think you're working on something awesome? Tell me all about it. Share your base designs, show off a game-mode from your server, or have you done a cool thing with boats? There's a dedicated forum, or you can fish for upvotes in the sub reddit. I also shuffle around the the Steam Community, so feel free to show me to things from there. You can follow and respond to Rust on Twitter, and I'm on there as well.
