Community Update 219

Tried to cram in as much Xmas content as I could out of the week's worth we had. A few people reached out to show off their creations but by the time I got to them they'd been raided and/or vandalized by sweaties. NIN is someone who's always been on the creative side of all the Rustafied events and didn't disappoint with a snippet of a Christmas village this year!
This gem of a base was in the middle of a hot zone on a well populated PVP server, we're surprised it lasted as long as it did. Was built by a healthy blend of PVP Chads and Roleplayers: SippyTango, Trausi, Suspect, Orgic, & Pillarn.

Gypsykween did a super awesome speed painting of a Scientist gazing into a snowglobe :) Total time was about 6 hours. On Christmas day I invited anyone that wanted to join to come out and build some village shenanigans. Our town center was a Chick-Fil-a. Don't ask.

ConnieBoy has proven to take Rust Instruments to another level with an array of well-produced music videos. This one's my fave.

Wanted to give a shout out to Corrosion Hour! Yes yes I know there's like 58675984 "Rust Guides" out there but this site stands out a bit. It's roughly a one stop shop for anything Rust related. Whether it be help on doing things in-game as a player, or needing help with some console commands as an admin. It's all there. Best part is they strive to keep it as up to date as possible. This is not an easy job considering how often we update and change the game. To all you goofballs that send me video clips and still don't have your achievements completed now you have no excuse! :)

Some of you may already know the man of many (actual) faces, Lifestomper. He brings very unique content and sense of humor to the table. He mostly streams on Twitch but you can catch all of his highlights on Youtube. "Hey there! I'm Lifestomper, Founder of LIFESTOMPER ENTERPRISES™. I started playing Rust from watching BChillz destroy everyone during the XP system. Embracing chaos and having some good laughs with friends makes Rust the perfect game for me." He recently contracted Slaur3n to do his thumbs and it's the perfect fit.

Rusty Moose Main is throwing a New Years party! Anyone looking to avoid crowds or party like irresponsible rockstars can come hang Tuesday (31st). There's a handful of Rust boomers admin peeps coming together to help build some dumb stuff and do crazy things like turn off stability/gravity/etc. Materials will be provided! You can also brush up on your race car abilities. BYOB Fireworks will be a thing towards the end of the night :) Specific time TBD but the shenanigans will likely start around 7-8PM EST.
