Awesome art, how to make videos, cage fighting, and more.

All the way back in Community Update 50, GreenCoal (aka ComBoze) wowed us with some excellent, header-worthy art. 60 updates later and he's back with another piece, which I obviously can't not use. It's an interesting take on the game. At first glance, the backpacks and beige clothing of the scout in the front looked like a war game to me. He's subtly mixed in a few Rust elements, rather than fill the screen with the game's iconic elements. If you like it, the full size version is on his Steam Community page. Give him a thumbs-up while you're there. Go on, it's only polite.
I happened upon XSmee's art in the Steam Community--amidst the memes, so many, many memes--and was amazed at what's been made with the in-game tools. I've grabbed a few of my favourites for you below, largely because there's a lot on there that's pretty NSFW and you don't want to be clicking this at work. With the existence of Rustangelo, it can be tricky to know if this is all genuine. XSmee has proof. That is good art.
Ser Winter goes on a long run on the Rustafied server, trying to shake off the cobwebs of the Rust grind. Before he gets there, he quests through the server and meets some young fans, before discovering a bar that hosts fights. It's quite a place. Being Australian he seems to be right at home there. Fun fact: Rust is actually set in modern day Australia*. *This is the last acceptable form of racism.
Surge makes excellent Rust videos, and knows that you need more than talent and hard work to make them. No, a fair amount of the time a decent control of the Rust environment and camera is also needed. So he made this, a quick tutorial that shows you how he sets himself up to craft his incredible cinematics. There you go, now you can be as good as Surge!
Nov 1st is generally regarded as the scariest day of the year. It's the day when we all reflect on the night before where we, as a species, are capable of disguising ourselves, banging on the doors of strangers and demanding they give us stuff under a vague threat. Why do we have one day to cast aside the legal ramifications of extortion? It's basically The Purge. Anyway, Ruigi pulled out the second scariest thing I saw on traditional Halloween, dressing up as Argyle Alligator this year.
My name is Argyle Alligator and this is the Halloween Report.
He also made this monstrosity of a pumpkin.
Think you're working on something awesome? Tell me all about it. Now's the time to share your base designs, or get into the growing Raid Cam business, or show off a game-mode from your server, or if your server has an interesting theme. There's a dedicated forum post, or you can fish for upvotes in the Subreddit. I also shuffle around the the Steam Community, so feel free to show me to things from there. You can follow and respond to Rust on Twitter, and I'm on there as well. I can't respond to everything, but I read every comment and take it all in.
