The header is from Veysel Kara, who has been at the top of the community update multiple times with a number of paintings and who has now expanded into the third dimension. It just seems unfair to other artists at this point, especially if you put your hands on the screen: you can feel every lump and bump of the voxel image below. He's that good. I apologise to all those people who touched their screens. It was a mild prank that'll only take about five minutes to get over. While you're here, ThatGermanGuy and a few other Youtubers will be hosting a charity stream this weekend in aid of those affected by Hurricane Harvey. It's from midnight Friday 8th until midnight Saturday 9th, PST. Here's where you can calculate when it'll be in your time zone.
This was timely. I was looking for some short, sharp, entertaining game footage AND someone new (to me) to highlight on the blog, and this vid of Welyn was dropped onto Reddit last night. A nicely made edit of a very good player's ascent through a server. I have liked and subscribed, but only after confirming that the gamma stuff is in the video itself (for the benefit of viewers) and not in-game. It's always nice to see the game played well.
The art this week is particularly scenic. On the left is Brullan's 'The Wanderer'. Right is a lovely little sketch from Benny. The next pair is from Pughie. Lovely work, everyone.
It almost seems like cheating to get Mr. Wobbles to run around with you in Rust, because his voice is like a social hack. That's what Holdacious did, using the bard ass to meet, greet, and ultimately pwn with the power of song. Whose channel will he be on next?

Xtab's weekly scrying of the Steam Workshop has turned up a gem of a double-barreled shotgun. Look. Lots and lots of very detailed weaponry this week.
This, by Brunt Force Trauma, is important. We hear you. Oh, wait. I had the volume up. Ah, that's better. Also, there's this by Odieman. If every instinct you have is telling you to not click it, ignore them and click. If you've watched as many videos as I have, that's gold.
