Blueprints as art, basketball with rocks (and explosive entrances), impeccable Roman role-playing, a player-made trailer, and more.
The orders were clear. The legions were to march into the heart of the Gallic lands and seize them for the glory of Rome. The Senate's impatience, like its coffers, though vast, were not infinite. They had tasked the legions with taking as much land for the Imperium Romanum as quickly as possible and giving unto Emperor Diocletian new lands to rule over. It was simple economics when it came down to it. Gaul was rich in metals, oils, and hemp but it also would provide with the slaves needed for the construction of Rome.As you can see, this is some serious role-playing. In-game they have control of a large slice of land near the server's badlands; outside the game they've released five 'tablets' of propaganda on the Rust Factions Reddit. I urge you to read them and imagine this happening in the confines of Rust: Tablet One, Tablet Two, Tablet Three, Tablet Four, and Tablet Five. This is my favourite piece of role-playing from the tablets: the announcement that they can make sentries. I don't think I've done them (nor the server) credit, because there's so much going on and all I can do is link, but it's been a blast to read (and watch from my little house in the badlands).
