OFFICIAL INSIDER PROGRAM
The Staging Branch in Rust is a separate version of Rust where new updates and features are tested before being released to the main game. It’s essentially the experimental build, allowing us to identify bugs, balance changes, and performance issues with help from players who opt in.
By playing on this branch, you can provide feedback and report bugs directly to the developers. It’s a great way to get involved in the development process and help shape future updates.
If you wish to play alongside new content in a standard gamemode, there are a number Facepunch servers to choose from. Staging map wipes occur one week prior to regular Rust.
For more focused testing, try a modded server or even host a local server yourself
For any feedback and bugs you might find along the way, press the F7 key to report it. This ensures we collect the important information to help us fix it.
To take part in more discussion, join discord.gg/rust and assign yourself the Staging role to see the hidden channels and stay updated.
