There's always a slight worry that I'll do something here, or more correctly share something, that will offend someone. And I know there are people who'll view the above image as somewhat sacrilegious, but on balance I decided that it was so odd and funny that I could share it with. And to those offended and angered by it, I say this: I genuinely think Kermit would be okay with it. Anyway, blame IDontHateEverything for insulting your Muppet god. They put linglingvasprecious's art on Reddit for us all to see. I'm just the messenger.
If you've ever watched a Brunt Force Trauma video and thought that you could do it, I have proof here that you definitely can't. Aside from the obvious FX they have in their Clan Wars series, there's a bunch you'll have missed, so they put together a video showing it all off. I loved watching this. Just don't do it with Extremely Flawed Detective. Some curtains are better left untwitched.
As good as KCmo's building videos are, they're also rather specific to his builds. That is to say you're probably going to end up with a building that's close to what he presents. This, however, is a video that instead shows you how to make smarter building decisions, based on the sort of stuff he sees on the servers. It was inspired by this video, where he managed to raid a clan without any explosives. You might know some of this stuff, but you probably don't know all of it.
Someone somewhere linked me to this footage of the MP5 being used in a battle. It's one of those little slice of Rust videos, not a concept and not a set-up, that helps remind you what it's like to have to fight for your life. Liked that? Sub to dogiii.
Mickill has made a Walking Dead style intro using Rust. What a silly boy, there are no zombies in Rust...
Think you're working on something awesome? Tell me all about it. Now's the time to share your base designs, or get into the growing Raid Cam business, or show off a game-mode from your server, or if your server has an interesting theme. There's a dedicated forum post, or you can fish for upvotes in the Subreddit. I also shuffle around the the Steam Community, so feel free to show me to things from there. You can follow and respond to Rust on Twitter, and I'm on there as well. I can't respond to everything, but I read every comment and take it all in.
I don't need to add more to the title of this reddit thread: What happens when you put a big large sign on your base with your RL phone number. Well now I want phones with numbers in the game. Seriously.
