Great art, bases, and more.

The header is one of my favourites of this week, month, and year. It's just great. Brullan's take on the backdrop of Rust has enough of the game to be recogniseable, but it's his own thing. I love the details on the rock and the glow of the campfire. Now go upvote on Steam, because he deserves it.
I floated about a couple of nice builds this past week. There's this theatre on Rusty Moose. ReptarKitawa built a village on a bridge on EU 2. Feel free to tweet cool bases with server details and map co-ordinates to me. I love this stuff, and I want to cover more.
This week, Pughie drew a dude. And Budgie has been working on some pixel art. Also, Plamen Kanev has remodelled and reskinned a vending machine for drinks. And that Rust's week in art.
Ever been surprised by what Brunt Force Trauma manages to turn Rust into? I have, and I'm not talking about their NSFW plot twists. No, they do a lot of VFX work, and like all good artists they keep track of the process. Here's how they made their epic Clan Wars series. Turns out we don't have planes in the game? Who knew? Also, Layla was fascinated.
Frost is experimenting with a new editing style, tossing a few cinematic moments into some usual game footage. Take a peek. I think it's quite effective.
Saturday Dec 2nd will see the return of Charitable Rust, a charity streaming event hosted by the ever generous Rustafied. Here's the rub. "For the third year in a row, we’re putting on a 12 hour livestream event, where all the proceeds go to charity. This year, all funds will go to Direct Relief, a longstanding charity who provides aid to victims of natural disasters and poverty in over 80 countries." I'll be including this in every Community Update this until the event starts.
It's The One Where Xtab looks at all the weekly skin submissions. Stay tuned for next week, where he does the same thing in a slightly different voice.
NightWolf601 has discovered the real reason we added the garage doors. Well, I'll be humming that all day.
Think you're working on something awesome? Tell me all about it. Share your base designs, show off a game-mode from your server, or have you done a cool thing with Code Locks and Vending Machines? There's a dedicated forum, or you can fish for upvotes in the Subreddit. I also shuffle around the the Steam Community, so feel free to show me to things from there. You can follow and respond to Rust on Twitter, and I'm on there as well.
